Deposit introduction: Wang Yinchun (1897-1977) was born into a poor family in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province. His father, Jinbao (also known as Jinda), was originally born as a small cook in Zhenjiang. At the age of 13, he paid homage to Zhao Xianting as his teacher and learned purple clay pottery from Jin Ashou in his pottery workshop.
After three years of full training, he came to help the kiln households to be the guest of billet making. Since 1921, he has been famous in Shanghai for his excellent blank making skills. A famous modern master of making purple clay pots, Wang Yinchun is skilled in making pots with high efficiency and a large number of works. Wang Yinchun's works are highly sought after and of high collection value. People call the purple clay pot created by Wang Yinchun "Yinchun Pot", and the words "Yinchun" are engraved on the pot.
